My ten minute play "PlayBot" will have a reading as part of PCSF's PlayOffs May 21st. You can find more information on their website at playwrightscentersf.org

PlayBot

PlayBot is a poetic tale of woman versus machine. Written in verse, it stars an AI playwright (PlayBot) who finished a play by a flesh-and-bones playwright (Stephanie) without her knowledge. PlayBot’s play “Romeo and Neural-Net” became a Broadway hit. Out of revenge, Stephanie vows to destroy Play-Bot, but the machine has a trick up its virtual sleeve.

UPDATE MARCH 2023: I wrote this little piece using a primitive version of Chat-GPT, and it’s been fascinating to see its themes become only more relevant.
